Throughout my career…
After earning a Bachelor of Arts in English from San Jose State University, I’ve advanced throughout my career as an editor and writer, engaging in topics such as: cybersecurity, software, healthcare, baked goods, and much more. My career as an English tutor has humbled me with the opportunity to give back to my community what I learned as a life-time student of writing, literature, and linguistics.
A previous mentor once asked me, “What do you want your title to be when you retire?” I took a some time to really think about the answer until I identified a position. Since then, I reimagined my career goals to align more with a career that can embrace my interests while challenging my goals.
